Venus Magazine – August Issue

August 2011 panelAlexandra Wolfe | Kissed By Venus
Dear All:

We’re nearly there with the next up-coming issue of the magazine, which should be with you all by the last week of July or, at the very least, August 1st!

I am so proud to be able to bring you this jam-packed bumper Summer issue featuring a very humorous article on ‘Procrastination’ from Aussie crime-fiction author, Lindy Cameron, an article and fiction from Catherine M. Wilson, with another piece of supernatural fiction from our very own in-house reviewer, Kate Genet.

Plus we have reviews from Kate and Jean Roberta, never mind two great interviews in this issue featuring: Marianne K. Martin, by Marguerite Quantaine, and Baxter Trautman, by yours truly.

Throw in essays from CM Harris, Baxter Trautman and our very own Marguerite Quantaine (who crossed paths with Nixon back in the day) and Jean Roberta’s column, Stranger Than Fiction, and I think you’ll agree, we couldn’t possible pack anything else in to this issue.

But don’t take my word for it, stop by at the end of this month and take a look for yourself.

Salut!

A Warm Welcome To

We are absolutely delighted to be able to announce that poet and author of PINK, Jennifer Harris, has agreed to join the staff here at KBV as a Poetry Editor. Jennifer will be covering all aspects of poetry, whether literary, humorous, or slam, and how poetry affects and moves us.

So I hope you will join us all in welcoming her to the fold, and show your support for her column, here at Kissed By Venus!

Welcome, Jennifer, it’s a pleasure to have you on Staff.
